This year CMF celebrates its 30th anniversary!

What started as an event hosting around 1,000 attendees has grown into a full-scale festival drawing nearly 15,000 people a day. Across 11 days, that is more than 165,000 attendees moving through one of the most electric festival environments in the country. 

It is the biggest and longest-running festival in Calgary and it isn't even close.

Over the years, Cowboys Music Festival has featured some of the absolute biggest names in music across all genres, building a reputation as one of the city’s defining summer events and a must-stop stage for major talent.

This is where the pressure is. Front of stage. Eyes on the crowd. Constant movement. Real-time decisions. You are not standing around looking important — you are in it, holding the line, staying sharp, and helping keep the show safe when the energy spikes.

This role is for people who can handle chaos without becoming part of it. People who stay composed, take direction, move with purpose, and understand how to be strong without being reckless. You need awareness, reliability, and the ability to work as part of a team in a high-intensity live event environment.

The position runs July 2–12, 2026, with varying hours throughout the festival. Full availability is strongly preferred.

This isn't a fit for everybody. It is for people who want to be in the middle of one of the biggest festival environments of the summer and prove they can handle it.
